A Patient Advocate is your personal guide through the healthcare system. We help you understand medical information, navigate care options, communicate with providers, and ensure your emotional, personal, and practical needs are supported throughout the process.
Patient Advocates work for you, not for a hospital, insurance company, or facility. This means we can follow you across settings — home, hospital, nursing home, or hospice — providing continuity, clarity, and support beyond the limits of the medical system.
We support individuals and families whenever things feel overwhelming or unclear. This may include:
✓ A new diagnosis
✓ Hospitalization or care transitions
✓ Managing chronic conditions
✓ End-of-life planning
✓ Translating medical language and options
✓ Supporting family decision-making
✓ If you’re unsure what to do next, that’s often the right time to reach out.
We begin with a conversation to understand your situation, goals, and concerns. From there, we recommend a level of support that fits your needs — whether that’s short-term guidance or ongoing advocacy and care coordination.
Support may include attending appointments, reviewing care plans, coordinating communication, or providing emotional and educational support.
Yes. While hospital staff do important work, they often care for many patients at once. A Patient Advocate works exclusively for you.
Your advocate’s focus is on your understanding, your priorities, and your voice — helping ensure your care remains aligned, consistent, and centered on what matters most to you and your family.
Patient advocacy and integrative support services are typically not covered by insurance. This allows us to provide personalized, relationship-centered care without limitations imposed by insurance requirements.
Some clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds, and we can provide documentation if your plan allows for reimbursement. We’re always happy to discuss options during your consultation.
Session length and frequency depend on your needs and the type of support you’re receiving.
Some clients benefit from short-term guidance, while others choose ongoing advocacy or support. During your initial consultation, we’ll talk through what feels appropriate for your situation, goals, and capacity.
No. We do not provide psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
Our role is patient advocacy, care coordination, education, and integrative support. We work alongside medical and mental health professionals and can help coordinate care or referrals when needed.
What does caregiver support or caregiver respite look like?
Caregiver support focuses on helping those who are caring for others feel supported, informed, and less overwhelmed.
This may include:
✓ Emotional support and space to process
✓ Education and guidance
✓ Advocacy during appointments or care decisions
✓ Gentle integrative support
✓ Time and space for rest and renewal
✓ Caregiver respite looks different for everyone — our goal is to support you in a way that feels sustainable and compassionate.
Energetic healing sessions focus on calming the nervous system and supporting emotional balance during stress, illness, or grief. These sessions may include breathwork, guided meditation, visualization, gentle energy work, and grounding techniques. They are designed to reduce anxiety, support rest, and help clients feel more centered and regulated while navigating medical or life challenges.
Energetic healing does not replace medical care. It works alongside healthcare by supporting emotional and somatic wellbeing.
Who is this for?
✓ Individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm
✓ Patients coping with illness, treatment, or recovery
✓ Caregivers needing grounding and nervous system support
✓ Anyone seeking calm, clarity, and emotional regulation
Legacy creation projects help individuals reflect on their life, values, relationships, and experiences in a meaningful way. These projects may include written stories, recorded messages, artwork, memory pieces, or keepsakes created for loved ones. Legacy work is not only for end of life—it can be part of healing, transition, or personal meaning-making.
Legacy projects help people feel seen, remembered, and connected. They also provide comfort and lasting memories for family members.
Who is this for?
✓ Individuals facing serious illness or end-of-life transitions
✓ People experiencing grief, loss, or major life changes
✓ Parents, grandparents, or caregivers wanting to leave messages or memories
✓ Anyone wanting to honor their story and impact
Expressive arts sessions use creative tools—such as art, movement, music, writing, or storytelling—to help process emotions that may be difficult to express with words alone. These sessions are non-clinical and focus on expression, release, and self-understanding rather than artistic skill.
Expressive arts can help reduce stress, support emotional processing, and reconnect individuals to a sense of identity and meaning during illness, caregiving, or grief.
Who is this for?
✓ Individuals processing grief, trauma, or emotional transitions
✓ Patients who feel overwhelmed or disconnected
✓ Caregivers experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue
✓ Anyone who benefits from creative, body-based emotional support
If you’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or simply curious about what support could look like, reaching out is a meaningful first step.
